Live Wedding and event Illustration

Colourful watercolour illustration for the fun, wildly-in-love couples who care about connection over Pinterest perfectionโ€ฆand want their wedding day captured with as much JOY and PERSONALITY as their favourite people.

Youโ€™ve spent months planning your dream day โ€” so why not capture it in a way thatโ€™s as unique and joyful as your love story?

I bring colour, laughter and a splash of magic to your big day by creating watercolour portraits of your favourite people, capturing their spirit and sparkle, in just 6-8 minutes per guest.

Why itโ€™s a vibe:

  • I capture your guests at their best โ€” when theyโ€™re glowing with love and excitement

  • They get a custom portrait (aka wedding favour theyโ€™ll actually keep)

  • You get added magic, entertainment, and those โ€œOMG thatโ€™s so youโ€ guest reactions

  • Itโ€™s all the fun with none of the waitingโ€ฆbecause I paint from photos, no one misses a moment

How it Worksโ€ฆ

One

Youโ€™ll find me set up at my little table (think artistโ€™s nook meets VIP lounge), snapping quick, flattering photos of your guests as they arrive, all dressed up and ready to celebrate.

TWO

Then, while theyโ€™re off sipping champagne, making memories and tearing up the dance floor, Iโ€™m painting their portraits behind the scenes.

THREE

By the end of the night, your guests will head home with a one-of-a-kind, hand-painted keepsakeโ€ฆa perfect little memento of your big day that definitely wonโ€™t be left behind or binned with the confetti.

Meet Claireโ€ฆ

Iโ€™m an ex-primary school teacher who has finally decided life is too short to live an ordinary life.

After 20 years of teaching, grief and burnout hit me hard - enough to say goodbye to the classroom. But what I realised was that my identity was so tightly wrapped up in my title as โ€˜Mrs Ward, the teacher.โ€™

I felt so lost.

So I picked up my pencil and drew what I was feeling. Slowly, I began to draw things that inspired me. Through this process, I found myself again and rediscovered my love of illustrating. And guess what, the more I drew, the more I smiled. (yay!)

So now I spend my hours with a paintbrush in my hand, drawing magical moments and turning them into precious, illustrated keepsakes.

Let me illustrate your magic moments so they can be enjoyed forever.
